Michele M. Casavant

Michele is originally from a small college town in Washington state. She earned her Ph.D. in American Studies at KU and wrote her doctoral dissertation on Star Trek; and she continues to be a fan of the show. Michele currently serves as director of undergraduate advising for the School of Education, and also advises students who intend to become foreign language and/or English teachers at the high school level. She also teaches orientation seminar courses (UNIV 101).
