MSP in College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences is the heart of KU. The College is home to more than 50 departments, and MSP is divided into three major categories including the Humanities, the Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
CLAS Services & Requirements
Students receive a scholarship of $2,000 annually. There are also opportunities for access to funding for experiential or professional development funding activities.
One-on-one faculty mentorship from dedicated faculty assigned to you as an MSP scholar.
The main focus of the MSP is on academics, yet the program also includes activities throughout each semester to support students academically and socially. Events can include:
Networking events.
Connecting with various campus partners to better understand available resources.
Professional development and leadership opportunities.
- Scholars are able to receive free tutoring from the KU Academic Learning Center
